1. What information we collect on our website

Our website collects access logs (IP address, browser type, operating system) in order to operate our services and ensure their safe and reliable performance. IP addresses are used solely for security and abuse prevention purposes, retained for no more than 30 days, and are not linked to any other data.

2. What information we collect on the application

Vento VPN provides VPN proxy connection services. We prioritize your privacy and security, and the personal information collected depends on your interaction with us. During your use of this software, we will automatically collect information about your device to ensure that you can use our products and services normally, including:

(1) Device-related information:

When you start using this software, we will receive and record information about your mobile device (including phone model, operating system version information, system language, hardware device identifier (Google advertising ID, MAC address, Android ID), Vento VPN version number, and phone location information (including the country or region location information and network access method of your authorized phone) based on your specific operations in the software and the specific permissions you grant during the installation and use of the software.

Special note on device identifiers: Device identifiers such as MAC address and Android ID are collected only after you grant the "Device Information" permission upon first launch. They are used solely for fraud prevention, active device statistics, and service stability optimization. You may revoke this permission at any time through your device system settings. We do not associate device identifiers with any browsing activity.

(2) Service log information:

When you use the VPN service of this software, we will automatically collect detailed information about your use of our services as service logs, including the number of visits, usage time, event information (errors, crashes, restarts, upgrades), and other log information generated by the device.

(3) Purchase and IP service information:

When you purchase individual IP addresses, dedicated VPN nodes, or other premium services within Vento VPN, we may collect and process information related to your purchase and service usage, including transaction records, purchased IP address or VPN node information, service activation status, and related technical information required to provide and maintain the purchased service.

This information is used only for providing, managing, and maintaining your purchased services. We do not use purchased IP service information to identify your online activities or associate your browsing behavior with your purchased services.

Payment information, including credit card details or other payment credentials, is processed directly by third-party payment platforms such as Google Play Billing or Apple App Store. We do not collect or store your complete payment information.

Please note that device information and service log information described above cannot identify specific natural persons. This data is collected only to enhance our services and ensure that we provide you with the best experience without compromising your privacy.

Device information and service log information will be automatically deleted after 14 days (including from backup systems), unless a longer retention period is required by applicable laws or necessary for security purposes.

Purchase-related information, such as transaction records and purchased IP service information, will be retained according to the requirements described in Section 7 "Data Retention and Deletion".

3. What information we do not collect in the app

We want you to know that your privacy is our top priority. That's why we don't collect or store detailed information about your browsing history, the websites you access, traffic content, DNS lookups, or data transmitted through your VPN connection.

For VPN service operation, including purchased IP services, we may process limited technical information necessary to establish and maintain VPN connections, such as connection status and node availability. This information is used only for service operation, security, and reliability purposes.

We do not associate your browsing activity or VPN traffic with your purchased IP services or transaction records.

That's not all. We are also committed to not sharing, selling, renting or exchanging any personally identifiable information, including purchase-related personal information, with any third party in any way.

4. Third-Party Services

Vento VPN works with trusted third‑party service providers to help us operate, maintain, and improve our services. These providers fall into the following categories:

4.1 Advertising and Attribution Partners

In versions of the app where advertising is enabled, we work with third‑party advertising and attribution partners to deliver, measure, personalize, and improve ads. These partners may collect information such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP addresses, and app usage data.

4.3 Payment Processing

If you purchase dedicated IP services or other in‑app products, payments are securely processed through:

We do not collect, process, or store your complete payment card information. All payment transactions are handled directly by the applicable app store in accordance with its own privacy policy and terms.

4.4 Our Commitment

We require all third‑party service providers to protect your personal information, comply with applicable data protection laws, and process your personal data only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. They are not permitted to use your personal data for their own independent purposes except where required or permitted by law.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We will only retain your personal data for as long as it is necessary to provide the service to you, or for as long as we have another lawful reason to retain it, but no longer than permitted or required by law.

When we no longer have a legal basis to retain your personal data, it will be securely disposed of or de-identified through appropriate anonymization. We will destroy personal data recorded or stored in electronic form in a manner that prevents the data from being recovered.

For purchased IP services, transaction records and service-related information may be retained for as long as necessary to provide the service, support customer requests, comply with accounting requirements, or meet applicable legal obligations.

8. Your rights regarding your personal information

As a data subject, you have certain rights to your personal information, including the right to confirm, access, correct, delete, withdraw consent and lodge a complaint (hereinafter referred to as "request"). We fully understand and respect your rights, which are also subject to specific exclusions and exceptions under applicable laws.

We will take positive measures to ensure that your rights and interests are effectively protected. However, please understand and note that for security reasons, we may need to verify your identity before processing your request.

We may reject requests that are unfounded, require excessive technical means (for example, developing a new system or fundamentally changing current practices), pose risks to the legitimate rights and interests of others, are extremely impractical, or violate mandatory legal provisions.

8.1 Right to Confirm and Access

We will inform you about how we collect and process personal information through this policy or the privacy policy or notice of specific product service scenarios. You have the right to confirm or refuse such collection and processing by checking the appropriate options. However, if you refuse, some functions that require your explicit authorization may not be available.

8.2 Right to Correction and Deletion

When the personal information we collect about you has achieved the purpose of collection or is no longer needed, or when you find that we have violated laws, administrative regulations or this policy to collect and process your personal information, you have the right to request deletion of the relevant personal information.

However, in some cases, we may not approve your deletion request, such as when you ask us to delete transaction data that Vento VPN is legally obliged to retain to comply with applicable local laws. Please also note that if you request to delete your information from our products and services, we may not immediately delete the corresponding information from the backup system due to certain applicable local laws and technical restrictions. However, we will store your personal information securely and prevent it from being further processed until the backup system is updated and your information can be deleted or anonymized.

8.3 Right to withdraw consent

In order to achieve certain features of our different products or services, we will need necessary personal information required by applicable local laws. This is explained in the "How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information" section of this policy.

You can withdraw the consent you previously granted for a specific purpose, including the collection, use and/or disclosure of personal information under our control, by deleting the information, disabling device functions, or sending a consent withdrawal request. We will process your request within a reasonable time after you send it. After that, we will not collect, use and/or disclose your personal information in accordance with your request.

If you withdraw your consent, you may no longer be able to access some or all features of Vento VPN products and services. The withdrawal of your consent or authorization will not affect the validity of our previous processing activities based on your consent.

8.4 Right to complain

If you are not satisfied with our response, especially if our processing of personal information infringes your legal rights, you may also file a complaint or report to the local statutory personal data protection department, or file a lawsuit in a court with jurisdiction.

8.5 Right to manage privacy settings

You have the right to control your privacy settings. You can use these privacy settings to limit our collection, use, disclosure or processing of your personal information. For example, you can choose to enable or disable the features and permissions of "notifications". You can also get more detailed information about the security status of your device in "Settings".

If you previously agreed to enable the corresponding permissions or agreed that we use your personal information in the aforementioned business scenarios, you can turn it off through Settings > App Management > Permission Management, or contact us at [email protected] to change your decision.

8.6 Right to Cancel Service or Account

You may request to cancel your account by following the cancellation path provided in this service or by contacting us at [email protected]. Please make your account cancellation decision with caution.

You understand and acknowledge that after canceling your account, we will stop providing products and services based on that account. We will also delete the corresponding personal data under your account unless otherwise required by applicable laws in your region.

If you log in to this service through a third-party account, please apply to the third party to cancel your account.

8.7 Rights in Certain Jurisdictions

Please note that under the applicable laws of certain jurisdictions, you may have the following data subject rights:

These locations may not guarantee the same level of personal data protection as where you live. Specifically, if your personal data is transferred to a country outside the European Economic Area, we will ensure that the receiving country obtains an adequacy decision from the European Commission or that we use Standard Contractual Clauses ("SCC") approved by the European Commission to transfer your personal data. Vento VPN's products and services are not intended for children under the age of 18 or the equivalent age specified by the laws of your jurisdiction (the definition of a child varies by country or region, and we will define a child in accordance with the laws and regulations of the country or region where we do business).

We do not actively collect personal data from children, nor do we use children's personal information for marketing purposes. If we find that we have collected personal information from a child, we will also endeavor to delete the relevant content as soon as possible.
